Allergies/Special Accommodations

It is extremely important that the office staff and teachers are aware of any type of allergy or special accommodation a child may have/need. If a child is allergic to any substance, whether it is food, an insect, or medicine, it is crucial for us to be aware of and educated about this matter. In the case of any allergy or special accommodations, it is required that the parent obtain and submit to the Registrar a doctor's note stating the child's name, the allergy/condition, the accommodation recommendation/requirement, and procedures to follow in case of exposure. Arqam's Academy will cooperate with the family to the best of its ability to ensure the safety of the child. 

Probation Period

If, at any time during the year, the school feels that a student is not a good fit at Arqam's Academy, they may be asked to leave and look for a better fit program. Special Education Constraints Arqam's Academy will not be able to accept any student whose disabilities may be too severe for Arqam's Academy to address. Arqam's Academy will only admit students whose needs can be met.

Teacher's Oualifications

Teacher's that are employed with Arqam's Academy will have following requirement: • Bachelor's Degree or • Three or more years of teaching experience or • Special Skills, knowledge, or expertise that qualifies them to provide instruction in subject taught.

Tuition & Fees Step up for Students

Arqam's Academy participates in one Florida scholarship program: Step up for Students. Parents interested in determining if their children qualify for these scholarships should contact the Registrar's Office for information. It is the parents' responsibility to ensure that they renew their applications on a timely basis and for ensuring that they provide the necessary documentation needed to determine eligibility.

Diplomas for Students Graduating from K5.

All graduating students K5 must submit a Graduation Release Form to the Head of School no later than May 5th, signed off by the Business Office showing all end of Q4 grades and showing no holds.
